This is from the magazine/website on RealSimple.com. It has several checklists and ideas for wedding planning. I used many of them for my wedding.
Also try http://theknot.com/

Try this website – they also have a classified section so you can buy things that other brides used at their weddings:
http://www.weddingbee.com/
Also, look at http://www.theknot.com and http://www.weddingchannel.com they both have a ton of checklists and planning tools.
Congratulations on your engagement!

is definitely the most useful American website out there! (Believe me I’ve checked them all!)
Not only do they have a checklist to walk you through step by step of all the things you need to do for a wedding, but they also have thousands of dresses, accessories, and other ideas online as well. They also give you tips on how to make your wedding "green" or how to do things yourself (and save money)! They also have a message board section that allows you to communicate with other brides from your area. They have local vendors from all over the United States. Their guest list manager has helped me a lot! The best part is that it is FREE, you just have to fill in some information about your wedding and create a user name/password and you’re good to go!
Also, Carly, who is the founder of theknot.com, has been prominently featured as the premiere wedding expert on many popular television shows. Check it out!
